TGIF: The weekend

Hey lovelies! So I know the week has been long but the weekend is here! My week has been so long and boring, I really am glad that Friday is here.

Now that I'm on summer vacation and all my friends are on holiday or have made other plans so it has been a major bore fest. Anyway, this weekend I decided I had to do something or I would go insaine from not going out. So I organised with my friends to go out for a meal to celebrate the end of exams and school. We're going to an all you can eat buffet with a live kitchen. It is a really nice place and I love the food served.

So thats it for today but tomorrows post isn't far away

Girl Talk: We Like The Same Guy

Hey lovelies! So have any of you been in the situation where you and your best friend like the same guy? I know I've been in that situation one to many times!

Liking the same guy your friend does is actually quite common. The likely hood of it is that you both have similar styles and taste in guys.

So if you do end up in that situation you really need to talk to your friend. Sit them down and explain that you don't want to compete, and your going to be the better person and move on because you would rather keep a long term friendship than a guy that might not even last a month!

Anyway, you just need to talk it out with your friend is all I'm saying. So guys I know todays isn't actually very helpful but I hope it helped a little bit!I love you guys and I will talk again tomorrow

Style Spotlight: Bella Thorne

Hey lovelies! So it is wednesday and that means a new post! There vis vav film I am dying to see and thats the film 'Brave'. Its a Disney Pixar film and the trailers look awsome. Anyway it was premire night last week and I'vev just recently stumbled across the pictres from the red carpet. I instantly fell in love with teen star Bella Thornes simple sophisticated dress:

 So this dress would be extremly boring on its own however paired with the wild shoes and simple classy accesories, it brings the outfit to new levels of wow-ness.

Trend To Try: Coloured Trousers

Hey lovelies! So it's Tuesday and todays post is a 'trend to try' post. I thought this post would be fun to show you what trends I am loving right now and what trends I am most excited about trying!

Ok so I went shopping with my boyfriend on Saturday with the main goal of getting clothes that were trendy but out of my comfort zone. This comfort zone consists of black skinny jeans (or darkwash i summer) a vest top and a hoodie if I'm cold. So as you can see my style is very basic I've never found something I like very much. We'll everyone has been wearing coloured trousers so I decided to buy a few pairs of bright trousers. I didn't think it was a dramatic change to my wardrobe but it was a start. Anyway, we went into a shop called Internacionale and I instantly fell in love with these bright pink  shorts so naturally I had to get them. The sizes run a little big so as a size 8 I had to buy  a size 6.

I love the shorts and this picture really doesn't do them justice but they look so adorably cute on and I am really pleased I stepped out of my comfort zone and got them. Although the weather hasn't been to good I've worn them with my Gun's and Roses concert tee, knee high socks, my black welly boots and a leather jacket and sunnies which has given the outfit a very festival vibe which I adore!

Mani Monday: Rubik's cube

Hey lovelies! So today I was browsing through a few of my favourite blogs and I discovered this:

I thought this was such a fun and quirky litttle picture and thought it would be brilliant for a Mani Monday. Its a fun summer look and incorporates the bright neon trend of the summer fashion without being 'in your face' which I like as not all of us are confident wearing bright clothes. But this little
pop of colour on your nails won't clash with any of the bright outfits so its perfect for summer :)

Soundtrack Sunday: Workout playlist

Hey lovelies! For my first Soundtrack Sunday, I decided, as I have just started a new workout routine, I would share the top 5 songs I play to keep me pumped on even the worst days:

1. Rack City - Tyga. A really upbeat song but I've learnt to have headphones in even in the house as my parents dislike the language. 

2. The Kill (Bury Me) - 30 Seconds to Mars. One of my all time favourite songs perfect for a rockin' workout.

3. Less Than Three - Eddplant. A really fast up tempo song and one of my favourite love songs.

4. In love with the 80's - Reliant K. A slightly odd song but its up tempo and it makes me laugh on a bad day.

5. Tonight Tonight - Hot Chelle Rae. A fun song that I adore working out to, it makes even the worst workout just a bit more bearable

Beauty Bit: Heat Protectant

Hey lovelies! I know it's Sunday but I was super busy on Saturday but here's the post.

I know that alot of the time when I'm in a rush to get ready I forget to use a heat protectant on my hair. This is really bad for my hair and I've noticed a massive difference since I started to use heat protectant. My hair is alot less damaged and alot sleeker and smoother. I've been making a massive effort to use it since I dyed my hair and need to do everything possible to restore it to its healthy state.

Recently I have discovered a brilliant combination of heat protectants that I find keeps my hair looking and feeling super healthy without looking greasy (and yes I have had experiance with that). The first protectant I use is the Tresemme heat defence spray which looks like this:

 I use this after I get out of the shower before I blowdry it. This helps to treat split ends and stops my hair being super frizzy. After I've dryed my hair and done my makeup I style my hair. For this I use the Got2Be Guardian Angel heat protectant spray and it comes in a bottle like this:

 Although I do blow dry my hair, more often than not I let it air dry which helps tame the frizz. After using many different heat protectants I think I have settled on my perefect combination for my hair which is a combination of frizzy and heat damaged. This combination may not work for everyone but I can't write for everyone, but I hope this helped some of you.

My promise

Hello again my fashionistas, I have made a promise to myself and to you (it is here in written form see!) that i will attempt to blog almost everyday, some days there may be a super long super fun blog but other days it may be a quick short blog.

 I have wanted to start blogging properly for ages and ages but I haven't had any time, but as I have recently finished school, I have a tonne more time on my hand so I can do plenty of blog posts. Many of the posts you see here may have slightly follow blog posts that Elle and Blair Fowler do over on their (amazing) blog and if you haven't seen it yet click here.

So everytime I go to type blog I have to backspace because I end up typing vlog as I have become so accustomed to calling it that. I feel a little silly typing to no one but I know that eventually if I post enough and advertise my blog on my youtube and twitter, people will eventually see it :)
