Hey guys, I can't ever seem to keep this blog consistent. I don't have a routine and if I write something I always read it over and go "GGAAHH!!!! This is rubbish! NO ONE, not even my weird and wonderful assortment of friends will want to read this" and it hit CTRL+A the DEL and everything, all the hard work is gone. I don't see why I bother sometimes. I work SO hard to complete a blog post, and it never seems to live up to my expectations.
I was out walking yesterday (in the horrible Welsh weather) with my camera as usual and I thought of something. If you know me, you'll know I have a tonne of ideas but I can never put my ideas into practice. Like this blog, like both my YouTube channels. It gets me down so badly but the ONE idea I manage to keep up is my photography. I take my camera with me practically everywhere, my friends get annoyed because once I start snapping I get a bit snap happy and well, you guys get the idea.
Anyway, on the note of photography I was thinking of setting up a photography blog, I'm not a professional or anything, and my camera is a bridge camera, and I hate doing all the arty farty setting exposure, but some of the pictures I like and others I don't. So, along with starting a scrapbook (kinda like the photography girls in the film "I am Number 4") I want to start a photography blog. It seems thats the only thing I CAN do on a regular basis, I have over 3 thousand pictures from this year alone and we are only 7 months in!
So here is the blog: http://photoyear.webs.com/
I hope you guys will look around the site, enjoy the pictures and share it with your friends!

Its a super fun and easy look that I will deffinatly be trying out once my nails grow back! Click here for the nail tutorial. Would you try this out?
Sunday: Choices
Hey Lovelies! It’s a Sunday post today, and there has been a
lot of stress on me recently to decide what career I want to do and what
choices I am going to make in life.
So as I have finished school there is a massive demand me for
me to choose the college course and the career path. So I have always wanted to
go into makeup and celebrity makeup. Not like special effects makeup, but like
red carpet celebrity makeup or makeup on like a daytime TV show. Since starting
my YouTube channel I have been really enjoying the creativity that comes with
the tutorials but also the structure. It’s a very controlled creativity and it
gives me so much inspiration, and I know that seems odd but I find having
something to follow helps me give some ideas of what to do!
In college I can take up to four A level (British
qualifications) classes. I have decided to take Film Studies, English Language,
English Literature and Textiles. I really enjoy textiles and the creativity it
provides, and also with textiles we have a fashion show at the end of the 2
years of all our work and I love the atmosphere at catwalks and I love being
backstage at those events, plus I get to show off my makeup and fashion skills.
J I took film studies
because I like all the films and at the end of the first and second year we
have to shoot a short film as our exam which I am looking forward to as the
options are very non-specific and leave a lot to interpretation meaning I can
be as creative as I want. English Language and Literature are to help me with
my journalism and blogging, and also because I really enjoy that side of things,
however I am still undecided about Literature, I may see if there is a beauty
course I can enrol on that doesn’t mean I have to take only that (a lot of
courses are like this unfortunately)
What do you guys plan on taking college? What career do you
want to go into eventually? Hope you enjoyed my post, more posts coming your
way, thank you, comment below and become a member!
Healthy Help: Snacking
Hey lovelies, so this is Saturdays post and I decided that I would a slightly more 'healthy lifestyle' kinda post as it is coming up to summer I know I, like so many other people are trying to get fitter for their vacations and I know that although exercise is a big part of getting fitter and a major part if you are trying to shed a few pounds. As I am only trying to get a more toned and sleeker body, I didn't to do a 'how to lose weight' post as I honestly have no idea! I have never needed to lose weight, if anything, I need to put it on, I am a feather!
So while exercise is a MASSIVE part of getting fit, so are your eating habits. And I'm not saying everyone has bad eating habits, although I know I do, I don't and won't deny that, what I'm trying to do is arm you guys with a better knowledge of what IS and ISN'T good to snack on. I have a tendency during the day, especially if I am home alone (which can be quite often as both my parents work full time), I will get to a point of boredom where I feel hungry. And at this point instead of finding myself something to do or getting out of the house, although this can be just as hard given the weather I am dealing with at the moment, I will make myself a cup of tea or coffee, grab five or six small cookies and watch some awful day time TV show. When I've finished the cookies, I make myself ANOTHER tea or coffee and a sandwich to watch another film or show. And this is really bad I know, and I'm filling myself up on empty calories and then not being hungry for a proper dinner.
However recently, because I am on a fitness regime I have been making a MAJOR effort to eat a little healthier. I've not cut out all of the sweets and chocolate that we all know and love but making an effort to eat a smaller quantity of them. Like instead of having 5 or 6 cookies, I limit myself to 2 and break them in half to make it seem like I'm eating more. It actually works! Another thing I do is not eating all my snacks at once, I try and eat them slowly through out the film or TV show I am watching. Once the show or film has finished instead of making a sandwich, I will make a tea or coffee and leave the kitchen. I won't root around the cupboards to see what mum bought last time she went grocery shopping, because that then tempts me to eat.
So Happy Snacking guys! I hope this helped in anyway it possibly could, and I hope you all get the beach bodies you are craving!
